NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND FILING OF 2026 PRELIMINARY BUDGET 

AND PUBLIC HEARING FOR 2026 PRELIMINARY BUDGET 

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Preliminary Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026 has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk, 908 County Route 3, Rossie, St. Lawrence County, New York, where it is available for inspection by any interested person during regular scheduled office hours.   

 

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Town Board will hold a Public Hearing for the 2026 Preliminary Budget on November 6, 2024 at 7:00pm until 7:15pm at the Town Barn, 908 County Route 3, Rossie.  At the Hearing, any person may be heard in favor of or against the 2025 Preliminary Budget as compiled or any item therein contained.   

 

The proposed annual salaries for elected Town officials are:    

Supervisor            $ 3,500.00 

Council Members (4)        $ 3,600.00 

Town Clerk            $ 7,250.00 

Justice                $ 5,500.00 

Highway Superintendent    $51,000.00 

 

The 2026 Preliminary Budget Hearing will also include ambulance and fire district services.  

 

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the regular meeting of the Town Board will start at 7:30pm, following the close of the Public Hearing.
