Town of Rossie

Town and County tax bills are sent January 1st of each calendar year and are collected by the Town Clerk/Tax Collector located at the Rossie Town Barn. Payments in full may be made without penalty on or before January 31.  Also, payment can be made by installments, which will include a 2% service charge.  The final installment payment is due at the end of May.  After that date, taxpayers should call the St. Lawrence County Treasurer at (315) 379-2234 for payment instructions. 

Methods of Payment:  The Town of Rossie currently accepts payment in the form of cash, check, or money order.  We do NOT accept payment by credit card. 

By Mail:  Checks and Money Orders can be made payable to "Jennifer Gardner, Tax Collector", and can be sent to 908 County Route 3, Redwood, NY 13679.  Please do not send cash in the mail.  Payments by mail MUST be postmarked by the due date. 

In Person:  Payment is also accepted in person at the Rossie Town Barn (908 County Route 3, Redwood (Rossie), NY 13679) during the Town Clerk/Tax Collector's regular business hours. 

After Hours:  Payment by check or money order can be left in the Town drop box near the Highway Department garage doors at the Rossie Town Barn (908 County Route 3, Redwood (Rossie), NY 13679).  Please do not leave cash in the drop box.  

Partial Payments:  Installment payments can be accepted as long as the first payment is made on or before January 31st.  Partial payments CANNOT be accepted after January 31st if an installment payment has not already been made.
